Rev. Aaron R. Smith
Sr. Pastor, St. Paul Lutheran Church
Pastor Aaron Rosales Smith is a graduate of Concordia University, Irvine, CA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theological studies with an emphasis in Biblical languages. He also received his Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, MO in May of 2006. Reverend Smith is fluent in English and Spanish and serves as Senior Pastor at St. Paul here in Mountain View. Pastor Aaron and his wife Ellen have a son and daughter, Malachi and Liana.
Rev. José L. Cervantes
Associate Pastor, St. Paul Hispanic Ministry
After serving as Deacon and Vicar here at St. Paul in Mountain View, José Luís Cervantes completed his studies at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He was then ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod and subsequently installed as Associate Pastor for St. Paul Lutheran Church on June 21, 2009. Pastor José and his wife Irma have five children and eleven grandchildren.
Jill P. Clapp
Director, St. Paul Child Development Center
A native of Illinois, Jill studied at Concordia University in Irvine where she received her B.A. in Education. Jill came to St. Paul in 1990 and has been Director since 1996. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, animals, and playing bass guitar in St. Paul's Praise Band. Jill is married to Allen Clapp.
