Merry Christmas!

I pray that you are all well and that you have the joy that comes with the birth of the Christ-child, born in Bethlehem, our Redeemer, and promises to make all things new. Christmas is the greatest story ever told because it is the story of our salvation. God becomes human, and yet, remains fully divine as he lives among us and will deliver us from all our enemies and makes us His own. There is no other story like this. And this story is not just something that merely happened two thousand years ago and stands by itself. This story includes YOU! Yes, you are on the forefront of God's mind and heart. He comes to save you. This story continues to unfold as we await for Christ's second coming, His second Advent.

I hope that this Christmas you experience the wonder that comes with this marvelous day. There are many instances in the Christmas account that cause me to marvel. The God of the universe is placed into a feeding trough. The news is first delivered to shepherds. Foreign magi travel a great distance to worship this newborn king with precious gifts. I hope that you experience a new kind of awe this Christmas that causes you to reflect and give praise to God!

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."  Isaiah 9:6

Joyfully,

Pastor Noah Kegley
